Chair OR
wall supported

These exercises are ideal for learning and developing balance and strength in a standing position.

A steady, sturdy chair is there to be used for support for one or both hands, as much or as little as you need.

You are free to sit down at any point, should you need to do so, but the pace is unhurried so this is unlikely.

The emphasis is on giving yourself the time to learn, with variations available to progress to slightly more demanding levels as you are able to do at that time.

When you feel that you can manage without chair support most of the time, I would recommend doing the free-standing programme.
